About Us
Nanoramic® is an industry-leading energy storage innovator creating solutions based on nanotechnology. Spun out of MIT in 2009, Nanoramic is the exclusive inventor, designer manufacturer and licenser of Neocarbonix® at the Core electrodes for rechargeable Li-ion batteries, Li-ion capacitors, and supercapacitors.

Through this technology, Nanoramic is transforming lithium-ion energy storage: increasing energy, while reducing charge time and costs, and improving sustainability. Today, Nanoramic works with some of the largest automakers, battery manufacturers, and consumer electronics companies to develop and commercialize batteries made with Neocarbonix at the Core. Nanoramic has also demonstrated success bringing technology out of the lab and into industry with ultracapacitors, polymer-based composites, and thermal interface materials.
Industry Leading IP Portfolio
Neocarbonix at the Core is a technology that creates electrodes with an advanced carbon binding structure, providing reduced cost, greater power, more energy density, long cycle life performance, and improved sustainability compared to conventional battery designs.
FastCap Ultracapacitors is an industry leader in harsh environment energy storage, producing the only carbon nanotubes-based ultracapacitors capable of operating in temperatures up to 150°C and under conditions of extreme shock and vibration.
